Abstract

Someone who is serving a criminal term in the form of a prison sentence will certainly
experience cracks in his livelihood, namely problems regarding his job or the economy. so that
convicts need skills training for themselves to prepare after undergoing coaching in Correctional
Institutions. The provision of training and skills is very important for the provision of capital for
social reintegration in the community, either with new skills for him or to improve the skills he has
previously served. This training and skills are also the rights of convicts that must be properly
provided by correctional of icers. The provision of skills training also does not immediately provide
all convicts at random, but there is also a classification and assessment so that the provision of
training and skills can be right on target so that skills training programs can be optimally provided. Evaluation of skills training activities must also be carried out routinely to see the progress of
convicts in participating in the training program. Skills training in the form of screen printing and
barbershop training is an independent mentoring program that has a big impact on some prisoners
who really need it, because this can repair the rifts in the lives of prisoners if it can run and is
carried out optimally. Moreover, the method used in providing this skills training uses the CBC
method so that it can cover many prisoners who can take part. However, due to the limited
infrastructure and lack of time, there are constraints that make the training not optimal.
